The program use a level system.

  • Beginners start on Red level. The teenagers are only allowed to sit while waiting for therapy. They are transported as even walking is considered a privilege <ref name="fb1">Remuda Ranch, Wickenburg, AZ, a thread on the Facebook group "Eating Disorder Treatment Center Feedback"</ref>.
  • The next level is Yellow. The teenagers are allowed to walk to activities and in general there is more freedom <ref name=fb1/>
  • The final level is Green. All activities are allowed, even riding horses <ref name=fb1/>.

  • 06:00 Wakeup and weighing
  • 07:00 Breakfast
  • NA One or more group therapy sessions

  • NA Group therapy session followed by free time
  • 12:00 Lunch followed by group and free time

In the late 1990's the faith based therapy system came under criticism <ref>Therapist's Conduct Draws Fire - Sex-Attack Victim Backed By Board, By Jodie Snyder, The Arizona Republic/March 18, 1996,(Re-print from The Rick A. Ross Institute)</ref>. The facility was later sold to new owners and the points the criticism targeted are maybe changed.
