Rachel Academy for Girls is a behavior modification facility developed on the basic of the Roloff homes.

The founder - Dr. Jack Patterson - worked at the Lighthouse for Boys runned by Lester Roloff before founding the facility in 1990.

The academy is located near Empire, Alabama. The person overseeing the facility is named Trudy Allred.

This facility is for girls only but the founders also ran a facility for boys only nearby called Reclamation Ranch until it was raided by the police.

Program Structure[redigér]

The facility uses the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) workbook curriculum provided by School of Tomorrow <Ref>Accelerated Christian Education</Ref>. School of Tomorrow requries that just one person in an entire school be "certified" to use the curriculum. This certification is NOT from any state agency. It is issued by School of Tomorrow. This enables schools to use the curriculum without having any certified teachers by the State.

In relationship with the raid on the boy ranch run by the same people, the girls was also interviewed but opposite the case with the boys hime, there was not enough evidence to bring charges against the staff members <Ref>Removing boys from that Blount County program where abuse is alleged was the right move at the right time., Everything Alabama, December 01, 2008</Ref>
